Created as a sort of super-soldier/brain for Zzyzx, Kyle was cloned from the DNA of a man named Adam Baylin who once worked at the company. Kyle was created in a gestation chamber in the Zzyzx labs. He is first introduced lying naked in the woods covered in a pink liquid. As he explores the forest, Kyle encounters a snake. The snake attacks Kyle but he counters by grabbing it by the head and later releasing it. As he wanders around the forest, he hears a noise only to walk in on a couple of teenagers having sex inside a tent. Later, Kyle is seen walking around the city naked and is then taken to a juvenile correction center for indecent exposure. Inside the center, he is involved in a fight with one of kids and upon being punched in the face, he involuntarily wets his pants. Kyle is then introduced to Nicole Trager, a psychiatrist who chooses to take Kyle into her home without her family's consent.
