Sam works at the Oceanside Wellness Centre in Los Angeles, California as an internal medicine specialist. He works there with his ex-wife, Naomi whom he left for no apparent reason. Together they have a teenage daughter named Maya. Even though they are divorced, both Sam and Naomi have an amicable yet strained relationship. On top of being an internal medicine specialist, Sam is also a successful health guru known under the pseudonym Dr. Feelgood. He writes motivational books, his newest book entitled Body Language: The Mind Body Connection.
