Violet is a psychiatrist at the Oceanside Wellness Centre. Though she tells her patients that happiness can be attained with focus, she fails to find any happiness in her life. She even questions the usefulness of her chosen profession. Six months prior, her boyfriend Alan had split up with her and she is, to this day, still torn by the break-up. Violet is good friends with her coworker, Cooper Freedman, often getting him out of humiliating situations with women.
