The Humphreys and van der Woodsens share an awkward Thanksgiving dinner. Dan invites Serena and her family to have Thanksgiving dinner with his family which creates an awkward situation for Rufus, Lily and Allison; making Rufus make a choice between Lily and his family. Nate and his family have an uncomfortable meal, ending up with Harold in the hospital. Blair is upset that her father won't make it home for their family Thanksgiving dinner and realizes that her parents are getting a divorce. During the beginning and the end of the episode, events from last year's Thanksgiving were replayed to show the changes in the characters. John Shea guest stars as Blair's father. (wikipedia.org)
